Black Kids Do Travel came about due to a realization by my 5yr old, Aiden that our family was not meeting other families of color as we traveled. With that, the Black Kids Do Travel Facebook group was created as a safe place for families of color to share their travel experiences, and to encourage and inspire families of color to travel with their children as well as discuss issues that arise as a result of traveling to certain places. This group has become a very supportive community of traveling families that is growing daily.
